 Mon Nov 2nd - Sun Nov 8th

Monday 11/02 - It's a busy morning. A Moon/Mars square (7:41 AM) brings out the manic side of the Full Moon energy. People are up and running first thing. A tendency to be abrupt and irritable is exacerbated by a Moon/Mercury opposition (9:05 AM) so communications are snarled as people are moving too fast to be clear.

The Moon is Full in 10°30 Taurus at 12:14 PM.

This afternoon's Venus trine Neptune (4:22 PM) is an aspect of tender feeling and loving concern. Venus/Neptune has a keen eye for beauty and is deeply moved by beauty in all forms. This is a time to focus on the positive and shield yourself from the harsher realities of life.

Tuesday 11/03 - Today is much calmer than yesterday. The morning is busy and interesting without being hectic (Moon sextile Uranus at 9:56 AM) but the pace slows suddenly as the Moon moves into a square to Neptune (11:05 AM) and not much gets done for the rest of the day.

The Moon moves into Gemini at 9:53 PM.

Wednesday 11/04 - Neptune goes direct in 23°42 Aquarius (11:10 AM) after spending five months in its annual retrograde phase. As it goes direct, the ways that Neptune has been affecting you become more obvious and overt.

Midday is active and social as the Gemini Moon makes a sextile to Mars in Leo (12:55 AM).

Thursday 11/05 - The Sun conjuncts Mercury in Scorpio (1:03 AM) so people are dealing with secrets and personal information. Sun/Mercury together indicate communication but the Scorpio placement means that this is done in privacy or, conversely, that private matters are revealed.

People wake up in a good mood as an early morning Moon/Jupiter trine (4:33 AM) has a soothing and heartening effect on the unconscious.

Things get hectic and slightly out of control around noon when the Moon squares Uranus (12:52 AM). There's just too much going on, too many commitments and bases to cover. As usual, Moon/Uranus is rather accident-prone.

The tone changes and people mellow out this afternoon as the Gemini Moon begins a lovely grand trine between Neptune in Aquarius (2:04 PM) and Venus in Libra (8:47 PM). This happy, out-going, romantic combination turns this into an especially wonderful day and evening. This works best if you don't stay out too late.

Friday 11/06 - The Moon entered Cancer just after midnight (12:42 AM) bringing with it a rather disturbing undercurrent as it makes a t-square to Saturn and Pluto (square Saturn at 2:04 AM and opposition Pluto at 3:09 AM) while we sleep, so people may not be in the best of moods this morning. There are no other major lunar aspects today. We may spend most of the day trying to digest and process last night's dreams.

Saturday 11/07 - Once again the mood shifts overnight and this day takes on a very different flavor from yesterday. It's an interesting day with many options and events to choose from. There's a lot going on and the time speeds by (Moon trine Uranus at 3:26 PM).

Venus enters Scorpio (5:23 PM) where she'll be until December 1st. Scorpio Venus is a femme fatale with lots of charisma and sex appeal. True to her Scorpio nature, she is mysterious and quite secretive about her private life.

Sunday 11/08 - The Moon enters Leo at 3:23 AM.

This morning's Mercury/Jupiter square (7:43 AM) is talkative and outgoing, though what is said may be superficial, not revealing true feelings, possibly even misleading. Still, it's very pleasant and amusing. Just don't take what you hear too seriously.

Tonight is super-charged as the Moon conjuncts Mars in Leo (9:21 PM) making this the most active evening of the weekend. Celebrate, create or get out and take in a show.

Venus sextile Pluto (10:33 PM) is passionate and intense. People feel things more deeply under Venus/Pluto and are more attuned to emotional nuance and any unspoken undercurrents.

  Mon Nov 9th - Sun Nov 15th

Monday 11/09 - The week starts on a light-hearted note as the Leo Moon opposes Jupiter (10:41 AM). There are darker undertones but people are trying to ignore them for the moment. When the Moon squares Mercury in Scorpio (1:57 PM) after lunch we may be confronted with certain information whether we like it or not.

This evening it's back to fantasyland as the Moon opposes Neptune (7:43 PM). Who says our own interior world is less real than the craziness we hear on the news everyday?

Tuesday 11/10 - The Moon enters Virgo at 6:30 AM. The day begins with the best intentions for plowing in and getting a lot done (Virgo Moon trine Pluto in Capricorn at 9:11 AM) but this industrious mood doesn't last too long.

Sun square Jupiter (11:41 AM) kicks in before noon so most people would rather talk about what they're going to do now than actually do it. Sun square Jupiter is optimistic, overly so, with a tendency toward grandiosity, though for most this will simply be a welcome relief from worries and concerns. OK, we may have our heads in the sand but sometimes you just have to take a break.

A Moon/Venus sextile (12:31 PM) make this a very pleasant midday. The tone is mild, gentle and care-full as people will tend to be tuned into each other's needs and desires.

Wednesday 11/11 - It's an interesting day. Mercury trine Uranus (4:39 AM) is usually super smart and lightening fast in its assessment of situations but, combined with today's Mercury/Neptune square (5:12 PM), people may be going off half-cocked, making assumptions based on faulty information and half truths. Don't jump to conclusions now. You may have some illuminating insights and revelations but sit with them a while before announcing it to the world.

This evening's Moon/Uranus opposition (9:57 PM) could bring all this to a head. You may be in the midst of brain-storming and problem solving but ill considered speech could send someone off the deep end. With all the mental activity and stimulation it might be hard to get to sleep tonight until after the Moon finishes a late sextile to Mercury (12:13 PM).

Thursday 11/12 - The Moon enters Libra at 10:22 AM and conjuncts Saturn shortly thereafter (12:53 PM), casting a pall over this day. We're tuning into the upcoming Saturn/Pluto square and this week's little bubble of optimism is ready to burst. Moon conjunct Saturn focuses attention on our lacks and losses and a square to Pluto (1:12 PM) adds a moody, grim note. This is quite an unpleasant day. People can be cruel and unfeeling under these influences.

Friday 11/13 - The morning is energetic as a Moon/Mars sextile (7:51 AM) lends motivation and enthusiasm. The mood warms as the day progresses and the Moon moves into an expansive trine to Jupiter (7:28 PM), turning this into a very enjoyable evening.

Saturday 11/14 - The Moon enters Scorpio at 3:24 PM. Today's Sun/Uranus trine (6:41 PM) is an aspect of energy and innovation. Uranus encourages us to do our own thing, to act independently and think for ourselves.

Sunday 11/15 - Saturn square Pluto (7:42 AM) is an important alignment that will be in effect through August of 2010. Saturn aspects Pluto every seven or eight years so it is not that unusual but a rather unpleasant alignment none-the-less. Saturn/Pluto is very authoritarian; imagine the little dictator in his military uniform and shiny boots. Saturn/Pluto presents circumstances where freedom is limited and choice curtailed but usually something you can breeze through if it's not affecting your personal astrology.

This time round Saturn/Pluto is involved with a larger formation of historical proportion, as it is one wing of the t-square that is forming between Saturn, Uranus and Pluto (Saturn opposition Uranus and Pluto eventually squaring them both). I recently sent out an extensive article on the Uranus/Pluto square. It's not up on the web site yet but will get there eventually. This t-square is building over the next year or so, until the spring of 2011 when almost all the planets are involved, as it becomes the only game in town.

The last times that Saturn and Pluto were involved in an alignment of this magnitude were: 1. in 1965-1967 and; 2. the early 1930's when the Great Depression gave rise to growing fascism in Europe.

Sun square Neptune (4:12 PM) can just be spacey and fantastical as we prefer to dream the day away. Combined with the Saturn/Pluto alignment, it brings to mind Sun/Neptune's more covert and misleading aspects. Things are not what they seem and secret deals and negotiations are in process.

Yes, folks. The Recession is over and, how do you like the Emperor's new clothes?

Well, if you turn off the news and you haven't been too hard hit economically, this can be a pleasant day as historical currents pass overhead like a distant wind. The Moon conjuncts Venus in Scorpio (8:41 AM), a privately passionate and deeply emotional alignment. Everything is processed through the feelings and evokes a deep response.

Things are a bit touchy this afternoon when a Moon/Mars square makes people edgy and demanding. Desires are strong and tempers flare if satisfaction is not forthcoming.

Mercury enters Sagittarius (5:28 PM) for a three week visit. Sag Mercury is outspoken and likes to talk about politics, philosophy and ideas in general.

 Mon Nov 16th - Sun Nov 22nd

Monday 11/16 - The Moon is New in 24° Scorpio (12:14 PM). The Scorpio New Moon squares the Jupiter/Neptune/Chiron alignment in Aquarius so expect the spaciness, and whatever effects you were feeling from last week's Sun/Jupiter/Neptune squares, to continue intermittently throughout the coming month. This can vary from a pleasant disconnect from the everyday madness to a costly forgetfulness, like bouncing checks or losing your car keys, to hard to pin down physical or emotional symptoms. Jupiter and Neptune are revving up for their third and final conjunction, coming up in December.

A Moon/Uranus trine (8:57 AM) gets the day off to an energetic and interesting start. This doesn't last too long though as a Moon/Neptune square (10:31 AM) pulls the plug on our initiative and drive. Maybe it's the weather but, whatever the reason, it's time to ease up. All of this Neptunian energy can result in space-outs and miscommunication. The New Moon (12:14 PM) is best used as a time for quiet reflection.

This evening's Mercury/Saturn sextile (9:59 PM) is serious and focused, good for mental discipline and study.

The Moon enters Sagittarius at 10:22 PM.

Tuesday 11/17 - Sleep may be restless and full of busy dreams tonight as the Moon conjuncts Mercury at 2:22 AM. Our brains are working overtime and the mental chatter will keep many awake.

Though the day is relatively quiet, this is an active and eventful evening. A Moon/Mars trine (12:40 AM) will have many people up late again tonight.

Wednesday 11/18 - People are genuinely friendly and out-going today. The mood is bright and lively as the Sagittarius Moon sextiles Jupiter (11:10 AM).

Expect a few bumps in the road later this afternoon when a Moon/Uranus square (5:52 PM) creates some irritation and frustration. People are moving fast and, as usual with Moon/Uranus, rather accident-prone.

Things settle into a quiet, mellow pace a little later when the Moon sextiles Neptune (7:46 PM). Get to sleep early and make up for those recent late nights.

Thursday 11/19 - Venus square Mars (1:23 AM) heats up the battle between the sexes. There's a disconnect now between what we want and what we're getting and some seriously ruffled feathers because needs are not being met.

The Moon enters Capricorn at 8:01 AM and conjuncts moody, demanding Pluto (11:37 AM) just before noon. Some people are willing to power trip until they get what they want. Avoidance, not confrontation, is the best response to these control tactics, though the almost simultaneous Moon/Saturn square (12:07 PM) makes it hard to bow out gracefully. This is a difficult day, similar to last Thursday, when anxiety gave rise to a lot of neurotic behavior.

Friday 11/20 - This afternoon helps release a lot of yesterday's tensions as a Moon/Venus sextile (4:21 PM) affords us the time and inclination to tune into other people's needs for attention and affection. Moon/Venus always makes enjoyment a priority.

Saturday 11/21 - A Moon/Uranus sextile (5:28 AM) encourages an early start on the morning. This promises to be a vibrant and interesting day. Things go smoothly and people are in the mood to cooperate tonight (Moon sextile the Sun at 8:04 PM) so it's easy to come to an agreement on any weekend plans.

The Moon moves into Aquarius at 8:11 PM.

The Sun enters Sagittarius at 9:23 PM.

Sunday 11/22 - The morning is relatively quiet until around sunset when a Moon/Mercury sextile (6:20 PM) picks up the pace and sparks our interest in a bit of socializing. Get out for a visit or dinner with a friend.

* All times are MST (Mountain Standard Time). For EST (Eastern Standard Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

Mon Nov 23rd- Sun Nov 29th

Monday 11/23 - It's a delightful day. Good feelings abound. If anything, the energy is too exuberant and outgoing like a big, happy puppy knocking you over. People are in a generous mood this morning, already anticipating the upcoming holiday. The Aquarius Moon squares Venus (12:31 AM) and conjuncts Jupiter (12:45 PM) making this a great time to go out to lunch with a friend.

It looks like holiday shopping begins before the big weekend as people are ready to spend money now. Venus square Jupiter (3:02 PM) loves to indulge in those little luxuries that make life so much more pleasant.

Tonight's Moon/Neptune conjunction (8:36 PM) brings on a dreamy, complacent mood. This quiet evening will put you to sleep early. Neptune often brings vivid dreams.

Tuesday 11/24 - Sun sextile Saturn (8:35 AM) makes it easier to get organized (make that shopping list now!), get down to work and plow through that to-do list without feeling over burdened. It's a whistle while you work kind of day.

The Moon enters Pisces at 9:07 AM.

The focus continues through the noon hour (Moon sextile Pluto at 1:08 PM). It isn't until mid afternoon that the natives get restless. When the Pisces Moon squares the Sun in Sag at 2:39 PM, it's time to take a break.

Wednesday 11/25 - Things start to get a bit hyper this afternoon when the Moon squares Mercury in Sag (3:38 PM) but that's to be expected on the day before Thanksgiving. There are all those last minute details to be taken care of, besides packing it all in the car and taking it on the road as many will be doing. Double check that shopping list to avoid those second and third trips to the store.

The mood is upbeat and light hearted, so there won't be too many last minute freak-outs. Venus trining Uranus (8:01 PM) adds a sense of adventure and more flexibility and openness toward any last minute adjustments and change of plans. Under the Venus/Uranus influence many will be trying something a bit different for their Thanksgiving celebration. This turns out to be a welcome change.

Thursday 11/26 - Happy Thanksgiving. There are some early risers going manic in the kitchen or on the highway as the Moon conjuncts crazy-making Uranus at 6:08 AM. Slow down, calm down and chill out! It looks like a lovely day and everything will turn out fine if you don't tie yourself in knots to start off with.

By 7:17 AM the tide has turned and all is sweetness and light as the Moon trines Venus, so you probably should have just slept in for that extra hour anyway.

By 8 AM the phone starts ringing. People want to check in on the day's plans or just chat. Mercury trine Mars (7:54 AM) is talkative without being argumentative. Expect a lively and interesting conversation at the dinner table today.

Venus square Neptune (5:16 PM) is when the L-trytophane kicks in, mellow, relaxed and ready to give people the benefit of the doubt. This will also help to take the edge off of any incipient political arguments. Venus/Neptune will have some people deciding to spend Thanksgiving helping those in need.

The Moon enters Aries at 8:11 PM.

After midnight a darker mood moves in like bad weather as the Moon squares Pluto (12:08 PM) and opposes Saturn (1:20 AM). There's an oppressive and potentially violent aggression here so I don't recommend a night on the town.

Friday 11/27 - The morning is harmonious and brightly enthusiastic as the Aries Moon trines the Sun in Sag (6:31 AM). People are up early, full of excitement about their plans for the coming weekend.

Saturday 11/28 - This looks like a highly enjoyable weekend. Last night may have been a late one but people wake up refreshed and full of energy. A Moon/Mercury trine (8:27 AM) starts the conversation early. People are eager to talk and share their interests and ideas. Whatever you chose to do today, the mood is expansive, friendly and optimistic (Moon sextile Jupiter at 10:37 AM).

The pace slows down a bit when the Moon sextiles Neptune (4:33 PM) later this afternoon. Time to rest and recharge. Where's that left-over turkey?

Sunday 11/29 - The Moon moves into Taurus at 3:34 AM.

This morning's Mercury/Jupiter sextile (4:54 AM) has brightened the whole weekend with its sunny optimism and easy charm. Mercury/Jupiter knows how to engage others in conversation and put them at ease.

Thoughts turn to practicalities and plans for the coming week as the Taurus Moon trines Pluto at 7:23 AM.

* All times are MST (Mountain Standard Time). For EST (Eastern Standard Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.
