  Mon Nov 10th - Sun Nov 16th

Monday 11/10 - It's an exhilarating week, a power week. There are major aspects almost every day. People are still on a high after last week's historic election, so despite economic concerns almost everyone is feeling good.

Expansive, generous and friendly, the Sun sextiles Jupiter (1:55 AM) early Monday setting the tone for the week.

Things get moving this afternoon when the Sun trines dynamic Uranus (2:21 PM) sparking innovation, inspiration and an undercurrent of excitement. People are more inclined to take chances and gamble on bold and daring new ideas and ventures under the combination of Jupiter and Uranus.

The evening is rather laid back. This is a good time to do a little PR though there's a tendency to boast about what we could do rather than actually getting around to doing it (the Aries Moon squares Jupiter at 6:00 PM). There may be snow on the ground but there's plenty of hot air inside.

Tuesday 11/11 - The tone is more practical and disciplined today as the Sun sextiles sober Saturn (7:25 AM). This is a good time to work out the details on how to implement yesterday's bright ideas.

There's plenty of enthusiasm, intensity and passion, despite (or maybe helped by) Saturn's grounding influence, as the Moon trines Venus (11:22 AM) and Pluto (12:17 PM) in Sag. This lineup is fiery, idealistic and fiercely devoted. There's a real crusading spirit here. As Pluto is about to move back into Capricorn, this is the last time these two will align in Sag for the next 240+ years.

The Moon enters Taurus at 1:05 PM.

Tonight's Venus/Pluto conjunction (10:53 PM) is an aspect of great passion. There's a strong desire for love and devotion, bordering on obsession, to a loved one or to a belief system or ideology. Venus and Pluto want so much that's its hard to really satisfy such a great need. Nothing is quite enough.

Wednesday 11/12 - Venus enters practical, ambitious Capricorn (8:25 AM) this morning. This is a good time for Capricorns who will be looking their best and aiding their ability to be diplomatic and charming. Venus will be in Cap until December 7th.

This is quite a day. The Taurus Moon makes a grand trine with Jupiter in Cap (7:24 PM) and Saturn (8:50 PM) so there's this amazing opportunity to manifest our dreams now, to take our vision and make it manifest. Take a chance and just do it.

Revolution is in the air as Jupiter sextiles Uranus (10:39 PM) tonight, finishing up an aspect that was a strong influence this spring when Jupiter and Uranus traveled within one degree of each other for over two and a half months (mid March through the beginning of June) laying the groundwork for this culmination. Jupiter/Uranus is a liberating influence, encouraging people to break away from outmoded restrictions and do their own thing. Jupiter/Uranus represents the freedom fighter, the adventurer, the free-spirited individualist kicking the status-quo to the curb and following his own dream. The week began with the Sun aspecting Jupiter and Uranus and this radical influence is definitely the theme of the week.

The Moon is Full in Taurus tonight at 11:17 PM and, as one could well imagine with everything that's going on, this is quite a powerful and auspicious Full Moon.

Thursday 11/13 - There's a dreamy aftermath to all that intense Full Moon energy as the Sun squares Neptune (5:32 AM) this morning. It's hard to wake up and get going. People are spaced out and distracted but there are things that require our attention around mid morning when the Moon opposes Mars (10:13 AM). Unfortunately everyone is still pretty ungrounded and we all start running into doors and each other, meanwhile losing car keys, the to-do list and everything else that isn't nailed down. Try to keep it simple today, if you can.

The Moon moves into Gemini at 1:11 PM.

Friday 11/14 - The day is pretty quiet until this evening when things get hectic. Expect crazy rush hour traffic, as there'll be more than the usual amount of detours, delays and accidents (the Gemini Moon squares Uranus at 6:59 PM and Saturn at 8:40 PM). Do yourself a favor and keep driving or traveling to a minimum this evening. Boom, crash, bang.

Things mellow out later when the Moon trines Neptune (11:19 PM) but this mainly looks good for a good night's sleep.

Saturday 11/15 - People are rather cranky and demanding today (the Gemini Moon opposes Pluto at 12:17 PM and Venus at 7:32 PM). A quiet morning at home helps soothe the savage beast. This is one of those days when you can't possibly please everyone so you might as well please yourself.

The Moon moves into Cancer at 12:52 PM.

Things look up later this evening when Mercury makes a trine to Uranus (11:27 PM). This should be a fun Saturday night. Get out and shake a leg. Interesting company and conversation make this a stimulating night out. And for those stay at home types, Mercury/Uranus hatches many a brilliant idea.

Sunday 11/16 - So, this turns out to be quite an interesting weekend. Communication is favored and everyone's IQ seems to go up several points under the favorable influence of Mercury, the planet that represents the mind and our thought processes.

Mars moves out of Scorpio and enters Sag (1:27 AM). Mars in Scorpio tends to act behind the scenes. Sagittarius brings Mars out of hiding and favors sports and all types of athletic activity. (Skiing starting a bit early this year? Time for a winter exercise program?) Mars in idealistic Sag (11/16 to 12/26) stimulates our wanderlust so maybe its time for a little trip.

Mercury in Scorpio sextiles Jupiter (9:00 AM) and Saturn (5:28 PM). If you need to do some research, write a paper or make some progress on that novel this is the time to do it. Ideas abound and words flow easily. Concentration is no problem and writer's block disappears. On the less serious side, this is a great time to exchange ideas and share conversation and good times with friends and colleagues.

 Mon Nov 17th - Sun Nov 23rd

Monday 11/17 - Energy levels are high as Monday gets off to a busy start. It's all about feelings this morning as the Cancer Moon trines the Scorpio Sun (6:43 AM). People will be making decisions based on instinct and what feels comfortable.

The tone is more assertive and daring this afternoon after the Moon moves into Leo (2:07 PM) and trines Mars (4:04 PM), which just entered Sagittarius yesterday.

People are somewhat forgetful and confused as Mercury squares Neptune (4:31 PM). Mercury/Neptune is idealistic and dreamy but has a hard time functioning. Double check paperwork for mistakes and make sure to read the fine print. Things are not as they seem and it's easy to be misled under this influence.

Tuesday 11/18 - There are no major lunar aspects today and things are generally quiet as Mercury/Neptune has people feeling rather spacey and unmotivated. Creativity and meditation are favored.

Wednesday 11/19 - People are moving slowly this morning. The Mercury/Neptune influence is still going strong as the Leo Moon opposes Neptune (3:14 AM) and squares Mercury (7:49 AM). This spacey alignment has dominated the whole beginning of the week. Look for vivid dreams, deja-vus and other psychic events.

People are rather touchy this afternoon when the Moon squares the Scorpio Sun (2:31 PM). All this psychic energy makes people supersensitive and there's lots of projection going on as others seem to be mirroring our deepest issues.

Things start to come back into focus later this afternoon as the Moon trines Pluto at 5:47 PM and the Moon moves into Virgo (6:13 PM).

Thursday 11/20 - There's a contented, friendly mood this morning as the Virgo Moon trines Venus in Capricorn (11:45 AM). People are eager to take care of business and well satisfied with the results. This is a great day for lunch with colleagues or other business associates.

Friday 11/21 - This day requires focus and the willingness to tackle some serious matter. You can bring something that's been in the works for the past year and a half to a successful conclusion now as Jupiter makes it's third and final trine to Saturn (5:14 AM). (The three passes occurred on 3/16/07 at 19ï Sag-Leo, 5/6/07 at 18ï Sag-Leo and now, at 20ï Capricorn-Virgo). Jupiter trine Saturn indicates discretion, discernment and a balanced approach to relationship and business matters.

In March 07 I wrote," In Vedic astrology, Jupiter/Saturn contacts are indications of high philosophical, ethical or religious standards. A positive Jupiter/Saturn aspect is a good time to make long-term plans or design a project. There's an ability to judge the pros and cons of a situation and make a wise and insightful analysis."

The mood is rather ponderous this morning as the Moon conjuncts Saturn (7:15 AM). This is a depressive aspect but a trine from Jupiter (7:17 AM) helps balance things out and provides a silver-lining to a cloudy horizon. There's a serious task at hand but a successful and productive outcome is within reach.

The Sun enters Sag (3:44 PM) this afternoon.

There's an alert, mental approach this evening as the Virgo Moon sextiles Mercury in Scorpio. This activates the more studious, thoughtful side of Mercury.

Saturday 11/22 - The Moon enters Libra at 1:20 AM.

There's a buoyant mood this morning as the recent shift into Sagittarius (Mars and the Sun) begins to make itself felt. The Libra Moon's sextile to Mars (9:56 AM) is energetic, outgoing and fun so the day gets off to an enthusiastic start.

Sunday 11/23 - Mercury enters Sagittarius (12:0.9 AM Monday morning).

A lazy, luxurious mood sets in overnight. This is a good Sunday to set your worries aside and relax and enjoy life. The Moon squares Jupiter (5:01 PM) this afternoon so, after a brief attempt to tackle some business, an opportunity to socialize quickly wins out. This is a great evening to hang out with friends, savoring good times and good company (Libra Moon trine Neptune in Aquarius at 6:36 PM).

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

 Mon Nov 24th - Sun Nov 30th

Have you noticed those two bright planets in the western horizon just after sunset? There's a lovely alignment forming as Venus approaches Jupiter over the next week. By next Monday (12/1), when Venus and Jupiter conjunct, they'll be joined by a thin crescent Moon, making for some truly spectacular sky watching.

Monday 11/24 - After a leisurely start, the morning comes into focus around 11 AM when the Moon moves into Scorpio (and sextiles Pluto) and its time to get serious about this week's to-do list.

Tuesday 11/25 - The tone is adventurous, expressive and optimist today as the Sun conjuncts Mercury in Sagittarius (9:52 AM). People want to communicate, discuss and share ideas and information under this mental influence.

There's a contented mood this evening as the Moon sextiles Venus in Capricorn. People are diplomatic and conscious of making a good impression when the signs Capricorn and Scorpio are involved.

Things liven up later on when the Moon trines radical Uranus (11:47 PM) and the holiday mood kicks in. Many people will be in transit now or out doing a bit of celebrating .

Wednesday 11/26 - Most of today's planetary action was going on during the wee hours of the morning (Moon sextile Saturn at 3:34 AM, sextile Jupiter at 4:50 AM and square Neptune at 5:33 AM) so an active night is followed by a very sleepy morning.

Pluto enters Capricorn (7:05 PM) where it will remain for approximately 16 years. Pluto has a tendency to take to extremes the affairs of whichever sign it occupies. Pluto in Sag, the sign of philosophy and religious beliefs, has brought us a glut of religious fanaticism and a rather dubious globalization. Before that, when Pluto was in Scorpio (1984 to 1995) we saw the beginnings of neo-conservatism during the Reagan era (1981-1989), the "greed is good" privatization of every aspect of our society and the burgeoning AIDS epidemic.

The last time Pluto passed through authoritarian Capricorn was in the period running up to America's Revolutionary War. During this time Great Britain put the big squeeze on the colonies as all our tax monies were bled away to help Britain fight her foreign wars and maintain her empire, thus the Bill of Rights demands for no taxation without representation, etc. Now the so-called Patriot Act and various presidential decrees have undermined much of what the patriots fought for. Americans may find themselves once again fighting for these same rights before Pluto has finished its pass through Capricorn. America won't actually have its Pluto return until 2022 so, while these matters are incubating, we aren't quite there yet.

The Moon enters Sagittarius tonight at 10:14 PM.

Thursday 11/27 - Happy Thanksgiving.

Uranus goes direct (9:08 AM) today after being in its annual retrograde phase since the end of June. With Uranus in direct motion again, innovations that have been in the works since the early summer will begin to gain momentum now.

The Moon is New in Sag at 9:54 AM. The mood is upbeat and optimistic. Many will decide to travel this holiday as the strong Sagittarian influence arouses our wanderlust. Look for interesting and animated dinner table conversation as the Moon conjuncts Mercury (12:31 PM) and Mars (2:56 PM). Though the election is over, there will be more than the usual amount of political discussion and debate as Sagittarius brings out the philosopher (or pundit) in everyone.

This could turn into a late night as Venus prepares to sextile Uranus early Friday morning (2:20 AM).

Friday 11/28 - Venus sextile Uranus (2:20 AM) is an exciting, adventurous aspect that will make this a memorable weekend. People like to break with tradition and try something different under this influence.

The Moon squares Uranus (11:57 AM) around noon and people get restless. Time to get out and shake a leg but watch your driving as this can be quite accident prone. There are some crazy drivers out there now.

The energy tanks later this afternoon when the Moon squares Saturn in Virgo (4:07 PM). Take time out for a nap and avoid the less pleasant (crabby) side of this aspect. By 5:54 PM when the Moon sextiles Neptune people are rested, refreshed and starting to put on a glow.

Things are hopping tonight as Mercury conjuncts energetic Mars in Sag (8:40 PM). The Moon triggered this lineup yesterday afternoon and the busy pace continues with so much to do and say, lots of talk, lots of action and good conversation (or an instant replay of yesterday's arguments).

Saturday 11/29 - Things have settled down considerably today. The Moon moves into Capricorn (10:48 AM) and conjuncts Pluto (10:59 AM) so people are noticeably more reserved. Take time out for a little solitude and reflection.

Venus trines Saturn tonight (9:37 PM) so the subdued mood continues all day long as certain responsibilities demand our attention. Don't expect too much from people now.

Sunday 11/30 - It's a pleasant but relatively quiet day. The Moon makes no major aspects but tomorrow's alluring lineup of the Moon, Venus and Jupiter in Capricorn cast a loving and tender mood over the end of this holiday weekend. There will be many engagements made this weekend as this romantic alignment in Capricorn makes commitment seem very appealing.
