 Mon Mar 1st - Sun Mar 7th

Monday 03/01 - Mercury enters Pisces (6:28 AM) today so communication becomes more emotional and intuitive. Double check that psychic information by asking people, don't just assume you know what they're thinking. There's a lot of projection going on now.

Things are rather erratic this morning as the Virgo Moon opposes Uranus in Pisces (10:36 AM). Schedules are disrupted by forgetfulness or some unexpected event.

The Moon enters Libra at 5:31 PM.

The early evening is energized by a Moon/Mars sextile (6:45 PM) so we finally get moving even though the day is almost over.

A Moon/Saturn conjunction (10:01 PM) hits a low key, downbeat tonight. That tired feeling sets in, along with feelings of disappointment and depression. Going to bed early is the best way to deal with this.

Tuesday 03/02 - There are no major lunar aspects during waking hours but tomorrow's Venus/Uranus conjunction is already an influence. An electric intensity and undercurrent of excitement builds a feeling of anticipation.

Wednesday 03/03 - A Moon/Neptune trine (1:44 PM) keeps things calm during the day but by evening a restless urge for excitement and novelty propels us out in search of entertainment as the Moon squares temperamental Mars (8:09 PM).

The Moon entered Scorpio at 7:11 PM.

Venus conjunct Uranus (9:06 PM) makes this an interesting evening. Unexpected meetings with unusual people spice things up. Avant-garde artsy types to the just plain crazies are out in force. One connection leads to another and this night just keeps going.

Thursday 03/04 - There were several aspects occurring in the hours after midnight so last night could have turned into a long one. Most importantly, Mercury sextiled Pluto (4:53 AM). This is an aspect of mental fixation, determination and concentration. If you set your mind to it, you can accomplish a lot under its influence.

We're moving into a period of emotional intimacy and harmony. The Scorpio Moon will be trining four planets in Pisces over the next two days, starting with a trine to Jupiter (1:56 PM) this afternoon. People are supportive and caring now, preferring the company of close friends and family with whom they feel more comfortable sharing their private concerns and feelings.

Tonight's Sun/Moon trine (8:21 PM) has people looking for agreement and interested in maintaining a harmonious atmosphere.

Friday 03/05 - Adventure is in the air and more than a touch of spring fever. Later today the Moon triggers Wednesday's Venus/Uranus conjunction so it's time to get out of the house and do something fun. Plan something different for the weekend.

The Moon trines Uranus at 5:05 PM so there's no working late tonight. People are out the door and into their weekend as quickly as possible. Relaxation is the first item on the list (Moon square Neptune at 6:50 PM). This weekend has party written all over it.

Tonight's Moon/Venus trine (9:31 PM) is more gentle and romantic than raucous so many will decide that quiet time with a loved one is the preferred way to spend the evening.

Saturday 03/06 - The Moon enters Sagittarius at 12:46 AM.

Today's most noticeable influences occur this evening when the Moon squares Mercury (6:54 PM) and Jupiter (9:58 PM), an extraverted combination that encourages the telling of tall tales, probably including a fair amount of bragging and bluster. It's all in good fun and, if the volume gets too loud, you can always improvise some earplugs.

Sunday 03/07 - It's too early but, none-the-less, spring is in the air and the sap is rising or, at least, it sure feels like it as Venus enters Aries (5:33 AM), the primal sign of spring.

Venus trine Mars (12:15 PM) denotes harmony between the sexes and indicates that the mating season is upon us. Libido rising.

Topping it all off, Mercury conjuncts Jupiter (6:46 PM) in Pisces, an aspect of optimism and good will. This is a very talkative, friendly and out-going combo, completing a thoroughly pleasant weekend.

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

  Mon Mar 8th - Sun Mar 14th

Monday 03/08 - The Moon enters Capricorn at 10:13 AM.

This looks like a difficult week. Venus joins the Saturn/Pluto square, bringing issues of grief and loss to the forefront, starting today. The Capricorn Moon squares Venus (1:30 PM) and Saturn (2:47 PM) this afternoon. There's a tendency to be harsh and unfeeling because we're so wrapped up in our own problems. Take the time to give the kindness that you would want to receive when you're hurting.

Many are brooding over past wrongs and recent hurts as the Moon moves toward a conjunction with Pluto (8:33 PM). People crave privacy and solitude this evening, not wanting to expose their vulnerabilities to others.

Tuesday 03/09 - Venus opposes Saturn (1:21 AM) while we sleep so dreams may be sad or anxiety ridden. Venus/Saturn often corresponds to material losses or the loss of a valued friend or relationship.

People put on a happy face today, though this is not how they're feeling inside. The Moon sextiles Jupiter (10:08 AM) and Mercury (4:27 PM) and communication is favored as people are finally ready to talk.

Wednesday 03/10 - Mars goes direct in 0 degrees Leo (10:09 AM). Having retrograded all the way through Leo, Mars stops just short of entering Cancer and begins to move forward again. Mars is the action planet so it will soon be time to implement plans that have been incubating this past few months (but not this week!).

It's a high-energy day. Interesting people and conversation make this a diverting afternoon (Moon sextile Uranus at 2:59 PM).

Tonight's Moon/Mars opposition (11:18 PM) may keep people up late but tempers are running hot so beware of potential arguments if you do. The Moon moves into Aquarius at 10:42 PM.

Thursday 03/11 - It seems like smooth sailing this morning, as the Aquarius Moon makes a friendly sextile to Venus in Aries (9:14 AM), but beware. Things are not as they appear. People are super sensitive today and take offense easily, so tread lightly and watch your words.

Venus square Pluto (10:35 AM) feels things deeply and intensely and is pre-disposed to feel rejected. Memories of past betrayals simmer just below the surface.

Friday 03/12 - It's a quiet day. There are no major lunar aspects.

Saturday 03/13 - It's a good morning to sleep in. A Moon/Neptune conjunction (5:57 AM) makes it one of those mornings you want to stay cuddled up beneath the covers, lingering in dreamland. If you're trying to function this morning, watch out for forgetfulness and lots of over-looked details.

The Moon enters Pisces at 11:43 AM.

This day gradually picks up speed, very gradually. This evening's Moon/Pluto sextile (10:21 PM) does compel us to get something accomplished before bedtime.

Sunday 03/14 - All that rest has people alert and ready to go today. The Sun conjunct Mercury (7:17 AM) in Pisces is bright and perky and ready for company. This is definitely a play day. Moon conjunct Jupiter this afternoon (3:16 PM) wants you to go out and play. Have fun. Celebrate life.

* All times are MST (Mountain Standard Time). For EST (Eastern Standard Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

 Mon Mar 15th - Sun Mar 21st

Monday 03/15 - This is a week of sudden upsets and unexpected events. Hold on to your hat and get ready for a rollercoaster ride. The key is to stay flexible and keep an open mind. Things that seem disastrous at first may turn out to be for the best in the long run.

The Moon is New in 25 degrees Pisces (3:01 PM). This New Moon highlights the Saturn/Uranus/Pluto t-square which will be the dominant influence for most of the year. Looking at the New Moon chart for Washington DC, it looks like the economic crisis will be back on the front page.

Mercury conjuncts Uranus (3:41 PM), the planet of surprises. Just when you thought things were going one way, suddenly it's all different. Mercury/Uranus can be that "Eureka!" moment when a brilliant flash of insight illuminates your mind or too much current can have you shooting sparks. People are changing their minds, sometimes several times a day. Communications may be disrupted.

Uranus is associated with earthquakes and is under considerable stress these days as it gets an opposition from Saturn and a square from Pluto. Later this summer, Jupiter will be joining the action when it conjuncts Uranus, an alignment that happens every 13 years or so, but this time should be exceptional because of all the stress that Uranus is under. It already is exceptional. I read a scientific article the other day about the unusual number of large earthquakes that have occurred in the past few months. The scientists called it a coincidence. . .

This week has all the indications of another massive earthquake, apart from the major rumbling going on down in Chile.

The Moon triggers all this, this afternoon, when it conjuncts Uranus (5:38 PM) and Mercury (6:01 PM).

Tuesday 03/16 - The Moon enters Aries at 12:32 AM.

People are rather pushy and demanding this morning as the Aries Moon squares Pluto (10:54 AM). Some are willing to go to extremes to have their way. There can be a certain ruthlessness about this alignment. If you engage an opponent now expect them to use every dirty trick in the book. Tonight's Moon/Venus conjunction (12:08 Wed AM) can be a loving and tender alignment but in the sign of Aries it is wrathful and warlike.

Wednesday 03/17 - Today's Sun/Uranus conjunction (12:51 AM) codifies the changes Mercury announced on Monday. This is revolutionary stuff. Uranus is knocking on the door, demanding that changes be made. Of course, not everyone is affected but if Uranus is triggering your personal astrology in a big way the message is, "Change your life or it will be changed for you".

Mercury enters Aries (10:12 AM). Aries does love to argue. The Aries symbolism of two young rams butting heads says it all. It's a competitive test of strength and also fun and games, if you're a ram.

Mercury trine Mars (5:33 PM) refines this a bit. Mars is the ruling planet of Aries and it fires up Mercury, already heated by its current placement in Aries. The trine calms things down to a low roar, it's a debate instead of a shouting match.

Thursday 03/18 - Mercury opposition Saturn (5:04 AM) is sober, serious and usually downright depressing. Some people received a rather serious shock this week and, now that the dust is settling, depression sets in. The best way to deal with Mercury/Saturn is to jump into a task that requires a lot of mental discipline and focus. It will help take your mind off the other stuff.

The Moon enters Taurus at 10:29 AM.

The morning gets off to a slow start but by mid morning things have heated up considerably as the Moon squares Mars in Leo (11:46 AM). Leo Mars is upset by perceived disrespect but Taurus Moon is probably just on automatic pilot, going about things as usual. Realize that folks are a bit temperamental this morning.

Friday 03/19 - Finally, a cheerful day. The Moon sextiles Jupiter in gentle Pisces (1:36 PM) and people are feeling good, maybe just because it's almost the weekend and this week is finally over.

Saturday 03/20 - Mercury square Pluto (2:16 AM) tends to brood and obsess over past wrongs and current grievances. Last night's dreams may have reflected this. Some quiet time spent in serious self-analysis is the only productive way to deal with Mercury/Pluto. Plotting your revenge is another way.

It's the Spring Equinox! Already and finally, this year is going even faster than last year. Maybe that's because the earth is now spinning some micro-seconds faster since the big earthquake. The Sun enters Aries at 11:32 AM and, after we shake off the shadow of last night's Mercury/Pluto square, it turns into a lively and interesting day. The Moon sextiles Uranus (12:33 PM) just after noon so it's time to get out and find something fun to do.

The Moon moves into Gemini at 6:28 PM.

The evening is energized by a Moon/Mars sextile (8:10 PM) so people are still going strong though things are a bit subdued by a strong Saturnian undertone, reminding us of our limitations (probably financial).

Sunday 03/21 - It's a talkative morning. People want to chat even before that first cup of coffee as the Gemini Moon sextiles Mercury (8:51 AM). It's a fun and friendly morning.

Today's Sun/Mars trine (11:54 AM) is very physically active. Get out for some vigorous exercise. It will make you feel better.

This evening's Sun/Saturn opposition (6:37 PM) reminds us of our problems, responsibilities, etc. but a Moon/Jupiter square (9:33 PM) helps people put on a happy face and brush those worries under the rug, for the time being.

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

 Mon Mar 22nd - Sun Mar 28th

Monday 03/22 - The day is relatively quiet. Things do get hectic this evening when the Moon squares Uranus (6:49 PM). Maybe you've overscheduled and realize at the last minute that you can't cover all your bases. Moon/Uranus is high strung and accident prone. Why not cancel instead of stressing out? An hour later the mood calms as the Moon makes a mellow trine to Neptune (7:49 PM) so it's all fine after all.

Today's Mars sextile Saturn (9:55 PM) is in effect for five or six days. This is a hard work, nose to the grindstone type of aspect. Pace yourself for tackling a difficult project that will take all your attention for the next few days.

Tuesday 03/23 - The Moon enters Cancer at 12:16 PM.

It's another difficult Tuesday as the Moon triggers the Saturn/Pluto square. The Moon opposes Pluto (9:37 AM) this morning so people are touchy and intense. Give folks plenty of space and don't take it personally if they're not in the mood to chat. Tonight pent up feelings come pouring out when the Moon squares Mercury (10:55 PM). It helps to have someone to talk to.

Wednesday 03/24 - It's all sunshine and blue skies today, figuratively at least. The Moon trines Jupiter (3:03 AM) so sleep is deep and restful and people wake feeling refreshed. The mood is lazy and laid back. People prefer to make nice and avoid any possible confrontations as the Cancer Moon squares Venus in Aries (1:14 PM).

Something interesting is going on tonight. A Moon/Uranus trine (10:39 PM) is restless and adventurous, motivating people to go out in search of some diversion.

Thursday 03/25 - The Moon enters Leo at 3:39 AM and quickly conjuncts Mars (6:15 AM) so it's a high powered morning. Get up early and ride the crest of this wave of energy. All this Leo generates an expansive, creative, dynamic enthusiasm.

The Sun squares Pluto (9:44 PM) so the negative side of Moon/Mars can manifest as a major ego/power trip, either yours or someone else's. Where Pluto is involved it's often not about another person so much as circumstances beyond our control pushing us rather forcefully in a certain direction. Destiny at work.

Friday 03/26 - It's a charming day. The Leo Moon trines Mercury (9:05 AM) and Venus in Aries (7:36 PM) so a joyful mood has us frolicking like spring lambs. Get out and enjoy.

Saturday 03/27 - The Moon enters Virgo at 4:57 AM. It's a quiet day. The Moon trines Pluto (1:40 PM) early this afternoon so people are focused on getting the job done, whatever that may be. This is a good day to tackle your spring cleaning or get out in the garden.

Sunday 03/28 - Today's line-up urges us to enjoy a play day. Do something fun, go for a drive, get out and recreate. The Moon opposes Jupiter (7:30 AM) and Uranus, just after midnight (12:55 AM), so our travels may take us far afield if it takes that long to get back home. If you opt to stay home don't be surprised when the mood turns cranky.

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.
