Mon June 1st- Sun June 7th

Monday 6/01 - It was a restless night (Moon opposition Uranus at 2:32 AM) so it may be hard to get started this morning.

The Moon enters Libra at 9:17 AM.

A Moon/Pluto square at 1:51 PM makes people rather moody and intense. It's best to work alone today.

Tuesday 6/02 - It's a heavenly day. A happy, loving mood has people feeling especially kind and generous. Venus sextiles Neptune (9:55 AM) and Jupiter (5:40 PM) so its easy to look on the bright side and appreciate the best in our surroundings. Take a moment to say a grateful thank you for all the blessings in your life.

Wednesday 6/03 - It's a power day, starting with an idyllic morning and moving into a dynamic evening. The Libra Moon trines Neptune (10:05 AM) and Jupiter (10:42 AM), continuing yesterday's magical mood. Intuition is strong now, as is a sense of connection with other people and the world around you. The Moon opposes Venus at noon so this is a good day for a long, relaxing lunch with a friend.

The Moon enters Scorpio at 4:44 PM.

The energy is powerful tonight, intense, passionate, demanding, as the Scorpio Moon opposes Mars in Taurus (9:19 PM) If people don't get what they want, they get upset. This is a very physical energy so get active. Go dancing, get out for a walk in the moonlight or go to the gym.

Tonight Mars trines Pluto (10:34 PM), an aspect that will be in effect for several days. Mars/Pluto is a powerhouse with great inner resources and determination. Tackle a difficult task, go climb a mountain or take care of a project you've been delaying because of the amount of energy it will require.

Thursday 6/04 - Today is relatively subdued. We're still coasting on yesterday's line-up. The Scorpio Moon sextiles Saturn in Virgo at 9:44 PM. This is a businesslike, serious-minded alignment, making for a rather uneventful evening.

Friday 6/05 - The mood has shifted considerably in the last few days, first high, then low, a rather manic week. The Gemini Sun squares Saturn (1:11 PM) around midday. This is a fussy, hypercritical, neurotic alignment. Try and calm your mind and don't get hung up in the details. The Moon opposes Mercury (2:56 PM) amplifying this overly mental, monkey-mind tendency. Deal with the underlying emotional issues that are making it so hard to concentrate.

There's a feeling of release and freedom as the Moon trines Uranus this evening at 7:18 PM. Maybe today's mood was just frustration at the demands and limitations of business as usual.

There's a strong desire to indulge and overindulge tonight as the Scorpio Moon squares Neptune (7:30 PM) and Jupiter (8:18 PM). Ah, the joy of doing nothing.

Saturday 6/06 - The Moon enters Sagittarius at 2:24 AM.

Venus enters Taurus (3:07 AM) after quite a long sojourn in Aries. This did well for the Aries people and fire signs in general, giving them a boost in enthusiasm and confidence. Now Venus in Taurus (6/06 - 7/05) soothes and calms us with its gentle, earthy wisdom. In Taurus, Venus is the earth goddess in all her abundant and fertile beauty.

Sunday 6/07 - The morning begins with a Moon/Saturn square (8:36 PM), triggering Friday's Saturnian energy and issues. Today's Full Moon in Sag (12:12 PM) wants the freedom to take off for a bit of adventure but Saturn in Virgo acts as quite the wet blanket, restricting our fun with nit-picky little reminders of financial and other limitations that present obstacles to our plans.

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

  Mon June 8th - Sun June 14th

Monday 6/08 - This could be a rather raucous morning as the Sagittarius Moon squares Uranus at 6:47 AM but luckily almost simultaneous sextiles to Neptune (6:52 AM) and Jupiter (7:51 AM) smooth things out considerably. The result may be simply deciding to clear the calendar for Monday and enjoy a quiet, leisurely morning instead.

The Moon moves into Capricorn at 2 PM.

Venus in Taurus trines Pluto (1:20 PM), creating an intense and sensuous mood. It's easy to become obsessed with a feeling, thought or desire under this influence. This increases as the day progresses and we move toward a Moon/Pluto conjunction at 6:43 PM. As this also involves a trine to Venus (Moon trine Venus at 7:13 PM), it's easy to get some satisfaction and obtain the object of your desires.

Tuesday 6/09 - Today is dreamy and rather inspiring at the same time. It's hard to get with the program this week, as there's an overwhelming desire to just float away on a cloud and do your own thing. If you can take a mini vacation, the first three days of the week are a good time to do it.

A series of Mercury aspects induce a somewhat altered state of consciousness. First, Mercury sextiles Uranus (3:45 PM). This is mentally stimulating and exciting. Mercury/Uranus is hungry for new information, experience and adventure. Mercury/Uranus is very alert and aware, which is a good thing because Mercury is also squaring the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction, which is remarkably spaced-out. Maybe they will balance each other out.

Mercury square Neptune (3:54 PM) brings out the illusory side of Neptune. Is what we're perceiving an objective reality or a subjective projection of our own interior space? The lines get blurry when Mercury squares Neptune. This seems like a good time to introduce that dancing girl:

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21598,22492511-5005375,00.html?from=mostpop

Some of you may have seen her before. She's been around the internet for a couple of years. Do you see her spinning clockwise (right brain) or counterclockwise (left brain)? Guess what? You can make her spin either way or even go back and forth. Is perception really so subjective after all?

Wednesday 6/10 - The festive atmosphere continues as Mercury squares Jupiter (9:34 AM). This is a happy-go-lucky aspect with a disposition to look on the bright side and celebrate life. This is not the week to negotiate a deal or sign contracts as it's much too easy to overlook essential details and take on good faith what should really be written down in black and white.

It's an interesting and lively evening (Moon sextile Uranus at 7:39 PM and trine Mercury at 9:31 PM). People are eager for a change of pace and a bit of company.

Thursday 6/11 - The Moon enters Aquarius at 2:52 AM.

There's a tendency to spend money on little luxuries today. Our desire nature is being stimulated by the Moon's squares to Venus (1:44 PM) and Mars (7:48 PM). Suddenly we feel we just have to have that special something or someone that will certainly make life so much better. Days like this are good for retail but bad for the budget.

This evening's Moon/Mars square can get quite argumentative if it doesn't get what it wants. Temper, temper.

Friday 6/12 - It's a relatively quiet day. There are no major lunar aspects.

Saturday 6/13 - It's a lovely morning. The Aquarius Moon conjuncts Neptune (8:23 AM) and Jupiter (9:34 AM) so things get off to a slow start but people are feeling fine and in the mood to do something special to celebrate. This is a great day for a family picnic or other outing.

The phone starts ringing this afternoon (Moon square Mercury at 3:04 PM). Everyone has shaken off the morning's torpor and is ready to get out and about, eager to socialize.

The Moon moves into Pisces at 3:32 PM.

The mood is more intimate and private this evening when the Moon sextiles Pluto (7:57 PM). The conversation becomes deeper as people want to share on a more meaningful level.

Mercury enters Gemini (8:47 PM) tonight. While Mercury is in Gemini (6/13 to 7/03), people's attention turns away from strictly practical matters (Mercury in Taurus) and toward touching base with friends, communicating and socializing in general.

Sunday 6/14 - It's another delightful morning. The Pisces Moon sextiles Venus (7:34 AM) creating a delicate and tender mood. People are kind and accommodating. Things rev up and get into gear around noon when the Moon sextiles Mars (11:53 AM). Energy levels are high and, even if it is Sunday, it's time for a power lunch.

The mood is a bit sad and somber later tonight as the Moon opposes Saturn (10:21 PM). Maybe everyone is just tired out from the busy weekend but getting to bed early is a good idea tonight.

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

 Mon June 15th - Sun June 21st

Monday 6/15 - Jupiter goes retrograde at 27° Aquarius. This is good news for Aquarians and those with strong Aquarius placements in their charts as it means we get another shot at the opportunities for expansion that Jupiter brings. Jupiter will move back to 17° Aquarius where it will spend almost 7 weeks this fall as it makes its station and begins to move forward again in mid October. Jupiter will enter Pisces in January 2010.

There's a bit of creative tension this afternoon as the Pisces Moon squares the Sun in Gemini (4:15 PM). This gets us up and moving and mentally stimulated though there may be an issue with thoughtless words and misunderstandings/misinformation. It's an active, interesting evening. There's an element of surprise here as the Moon conjuncts Uranus (7:17 PM) so expect the unexpected.

Tuesday 6/16 - The Moon enters Aries at 1:52 AM.

The early hours are rather difficult as people are rather edgy and moody (Moon square Pluto at 5:55 PM). Give yourself some quiet time or just sleep in. Soon enough the mood dissipates and the morning kicks into gear (Moon sextile Mercury at 6:37 AM) with phone calls, emails and plans for a busy day.

Wednesday 6/17 - It's a power day. The Jupiter/Neptune conjunction is peaking this week as the Gemini Sun trines Neptune (4:47 AM) and Jupiter (8:29 PM), triggering this alignment in a very positive way and bringing out the best it has to offer. Gemini and Aquarius are very social and group oriented so the accent is on community, finding yours and enjoying and celebrating it. It's all very inspirational and festive.

The Sun squares Uranus (8:57 AM) highlighting the unusual. Today may hold an unexpected lucky break, a turn of events from out of the blue that catches you by surprise. This may be the turning point that helps you make a decision that may seem sudden but has actually been percolating for quite some time.

Thursday 6/18 - The Aries Moon sextiles Neptune (1:59 AM), Jupiter (3:05 AM) and the Sun (3:35 AM) while we sleep. There's something important happening in the subconscious tonight, a deep healing or revelation.

The Moon enters Taurus at 8:20 AM. There's a strong, stable and determined attitude today, helping ground the inspiration and insights of the last couple days (Taurus Moon trine Pluto in Cap at 12 noon).

Friday 6/19 - The spiritual high of this last week translates into a sensual, earthy bliss as the Taurus Moon conjuncts Venus (7:00 AM) and Mars (8:07 AM) this morning. It's during moments like this that one can see that we truly are living in a paradise that only our delusion and feeling of separateness defiles. Passions run strong today but steady Taurus calms and soothes an otherwise overly emotional alignment, along with help from a disciplined Moon/Saturn trine (11:33 AM).

Saturday 6/20 - It's another dreamy Saturday morning, featuring more aspects to Jupiter and Neptune. The Taurus Moon squares Neptune (5:01 AM) and Jupiter (6:02 AM) evoking a lazy and languid mood.

The Moon moves into Gemini at 11 AM.

The Sun enters Cancer tonight at 11:46 PM. This is the Solstice point so, unless you're up at midnight, you can celebrate the Solstice on either Saturday or Sunday and be equally correct.

Sleep may be restless tonight as a Moon/Mercury conjunction at 12:52 AM creates a busy mental atmosphere buzzing with thoughts and concerns, featuring an instant replay of recent events.

Sunday 6/21 - Talk about fertility and abundance! Venus conjuncts Mars (7:10 AM) today and one wonders how many babies will be conceived this weekend. Since Mars represents what we desire and Venus what we receive, their conjunction indicates many people will have their desires fulfilled it's influence. Just be careful what you ask for.

Sometimes getting something you've longed for can be disappointing. Maybe it wasn't as fulfilling as you thought it would be, leaving you with that "what now?" feeling. This afternoon's Moon/Saturn square (12:52 PM) highlights that empty feeling. Jupiter/Neptune offers insight into the understanding that true fulfillment lies beyond the endless cycle of desire. Achieving this desire didn't make me happy, maybe this next thing will and so around and around and around.

Venus' trine to Saturn (12:31 AM) adds a realistic and practical perspective. This helps us from being swept off our feet by this week's almost over-whelming line-up of planets.

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.

 Mon June 22nd - Sun June 28th

Monday 6/22 - It's an energetic and upbeat morning. A Moon/Uranus square (5:47 AM) creates an electric intensity that has people up early and a trine to Jupiter (6:20 AM) takes the edge off of Uranus' famous volatility so the mood is warm and friendly.

Today's Mars/Saturn trine (8:45 AM) is an aspect of hard work and determination. Unfortunately it also indicates that there are obstacles and difficult circumstances that will require Mars/Saturn's fortitude.

The Moon enters Cancer at 11:12 AM.

The Moon is New in 1° Cancer at 1:35 PM. The New Moon falling so close to the Solstice is another factor in the powerful planetary line-up we've been experiencing recently. The New Moon is in opposition to Pluto, indicating a month of struggle against strong opposing forces. Power trips and power plays abound.

Tuesday 6/23 - The Sun opposes Pluto (1:39 AM) early this morning and those who wield power are not hesitant to use it. Expect people to be testing boundaries to see how far they can go. You may have to take a firm stance to maintain your space.

A rather defensive posture is favored by a series of sextiles from the Moon to Saturn (12:43 AM) and Mars (2:01 PM). Keeping a low profile is probably the best approach now. The mood sweetens up by mid afternoon when the Moon sextiles Venus (3:16 PM) and people are more approachable and amenable.

Wednesday 6/24 - It's a vibrant morning. A Moon/Uranus trine (5:24 AM) favors an early start. It will be hard to sleep in today. Get up and enjoy the best part of the day. The Moon enters Leo at 10:50 AM.

Thursday 6/25 - This is a good morning for making contact. Phone calls, emails or any heart-to-heart conversations you've been needing to have go well now (Moon sextile Mercury at 11:25 AM).

Tempers will flare later this afternoon when the Moon squares Mars (4:41 PM) and Venus (7:13 PM) if people feel they've been treated with disrespect. Don't sacrifice form for expediency or someone will be offended.

Friday 6/26 - Mercury square Saturn (2:32 AM) has a negative and depressive quality. With Gemini and Virgo involved there's a tendency to be hypercritical and overly concerned with minutia. Problems and delays will arise under Mercury/Saturn but there's also a proclivity to magnify them out of all proportion and therefore feel overwhelmed or overreact.

Mercury/Saturn may manifest mainly as anxiety and restless sleep as this morning the Moon's aspects will override last night's square for the moment. The Leo Moon opposes Neptune (5:34 AM) and Jupiter (6:28 AM) so a lazy mood gets the day off to a pleasant, dreamy start. It's easy to get distracted with whatever you're doing and forget any plans or appointments you may have made.

The Moon moves into Virgo at 11:47 AM.

The afternoon is more focused and businesslike (Moon trine Pluto at 2:57 PM), making up for lost time and wrapping up some last details before the workweek is over.

The day ends on a quiet note as the Virgo Moon sextiles the Cancer Sun (9:13 PM) so people prefer to relax at home this evening.

Saturday 6/27 - The Mercury/Saturn square grabs all our attention as the Moon conjuncts Saturn this afternoon (3:33 PM) and squares Mercury tonight (8:33 PM). Some bad news has put a wrench in the works. Whatever it is, it looks like everything else is on hold while you deal with it. Don't plan any parties or special events for today.

Sunday 6/28 - Tempers are taut this morning as the Moon opposes Uranus (9:26 AM) creating an impatient and volatile mood. People are feeling frustrated and snappish. Yesterday was just a little too much.

The Moon enters Libra at 3:24 PM.

This evening's Moon/Pluto square (6:40 PM) tends to brood and wants some privacy to do it in. Give people lots of space tonight .

* All times are MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). For EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.
