Jupiter/Uranus:
The Revolutionary
Throughout
the summer we've been experiencing an expansive and innovative
grand trine in water signs. The basis is the on-going trine between
Jupiter in Scorpio and Uranus in Pisces, an aspect of electric
intensity. Jupiter/Uranus is adventurous, restless and deeply
curious about the unknown, an aspect of explorers, scientists
and metaphysicians of all types. The Jupiter/Uranus trine started
last November (11/27/05), was exact again on 5/04/06 and finishes
up at the end of August (8/29/06).
Starting
this spring a series of planets have been moving through Cancer
filling in the third point of the triangle. On May 7th the grand
trine started off with a bang when Mars trined both planets on
the same day. Between June 9th and 12th Mercury in Cancer triggered
this grand trine and then it was the Sun's turn between June 30th
and July 6th.
So we've been getting a lot of support for making some creative
innovations in our lives, kicking out the cobwebs and seeking
vital new ways of self expression. The status quo is not good
enough for restless Jupiter/Uranus and people have been moving
around like pawns on some cosmic chessboard, getting in position
for the next phase of the game.
The
final version of the grand trine comes into play toward the end
of July when Venus in Cancer activates it from July 26th through
the 30th. During this period many people will be finalizing the
changes they've been contemplating since Jupiter/Uranus first
came into play last November.
Still
the last pass of the Jupiter/Uranus trine isn't until the end
of August, so the Moon's monthly pass through Cancer will bring
us mini versions of this grand trine. For the next month or two
we'll be putting the finishing touches on our own personal revolutions.

the I Ching
Hexagram
49: Revolution
...We
must be satisfied with the attainable. If we should go too far
and try to achieve too much, it would lead to unrest and misfortune.
For the object of a great revolution is the attainment of clarified,
secure conditions ensuring a general stabilization on the basis
of what is possible at the moment.
