Monday
02/08 - The
morning starts off harmoniously with a Sun/Moon sextile (7:17 AM)
and all goes smoothly until later in the day when we hit a bump
in the road as the Sagittarius Moon squares unpredictable Uranus
(4:57 PM). Happening as it does, right at rush hour, be on the lookout
for crazed drivers and unexpected traffic hazards.
Things mellow out after dinner and a lovely, romantic mood sets
in as the Moon sextiles Neptune (7:38 PM) and Venus (9:58 PM), keying
into yesterday's Venus/Neptune conjunction.
Tuesday
02/09
- The
Moon enters Capricorn at 3:43 AM.
It's a difficult morning. The Moon squares Saturn (11:45 AM) so
it's hard to work up much enthusiasm. Energy levels are low and
Saturn/Pluto issues of limitation and confinement are the main focus
today. A Moon/Pluto conjunction (12:58 PM) has us on one side or
another of someone's power trip, maybe our own.
The moodiness gives way to a brighter attitude when the Moon sextiles
Jupiter (2:18 PM) this afternoon.
Wednesday
02/10
- There
are no major lunar aspects today so things are relatively quiet.
After a long stay in practical, political, ambitious Capricorn,
Mercury enters Aquarius (2:06 AM). The national dialogue
refocuses on ideals, recalling recent hopes for real change.
Thursday
02/11
- Venus
enters Pisces (5:10 AM) and will soon join up with Jupiter,
a tender and compassionate alignment that colors the middle of February
pink. Those with birthdays around this time can look forward to
a loving and lovely year.
The
morning gets off to an early start as the Moon sextiles Uranus (5:39
AM). This alert mental energy indicates enthusiasm for a plan or
project that keeps us busy throughout the day.
The
Moon enters Aquarius at 4:24 PM.
The
Moon and Mercury conjunct in Aquarius (9:39 PM) later this evening
so people are eager for company and conversation tonight. This is
a good evening to entertain.
Friday

Last
night may have turned into a late one as a fiery Moon/Mars opposition
(2:01 AM) kept the pace going into the wee hours of the morning.
Today we pay the dues, sloughing through the day. Duty calls and
there is work to attend to. Many may even be working late to get
it all taken care of as Mercury trines dutiful, dreary Saturn
(6:36 PM).
Saturday
02/13 - Mercury
opposition Mars (3:25 AM) is an alignment that loves debate,
argument and the sound of its own voice. This very cerebral energy
will even argue both sides of an issue just for the mental exercise.
The
Moon is New in 25 degrees of Aquarius. This interesting
New Moon conjuncts Neptune, highlighting spiritual and humanitarian
concerns. Some will want to hide out, focusing on inner work. This
is a wonderful time for a meditation or contemplative retreat. For
others this will be a renewal of dedication to a political ideal.
Aquarians love to work with like-minded associates toward a common
cause or goal.
For
those with reason to celebrate Valentine's Day, this is a great
weekend to get away from it all to some romantic hideaway.
Sunday
02/14

Happy
Valentine's Day. This is the archetypal Valentine's Day. The
Moon entered Pisces at 5:23 AM and will conjunct Venus (1:54 PM)
and Jupiter (6:32 PM) over the course of the day. It just doesn't
get any sweeter than this.
Today's
Sun/Neptune conjunction (4:20 PM) is a selfless aspect that
is able to put other people's best interest ahead of it's own. This
is truly about the joy of giving.
Venus
sextile Pluto (12:16 AM). Technically this should be for tomorrow's
forecast, since it happens after midnight, but it fits right in
with today's romantic energies. Venus/Pluto brings a passionate
intensity to a day that might otherwise be almost too sweetly sentimental.
Venus/Pluto adds some dark red tones to this pink Valentine.

All times are MST (Mountain Standard Time). For EST (Eastern Standard
Time) add two hours. All aspects in bold are major
influences that are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily
aspects are rapidly shifting influences that are in effect for only
a few hours.
