Monday
2/02 - There's
a mild undercurrent of tension this afternoon as the Taurus Moon
squares the Aquarius Sun (4:13 PM), a kind of push-pull between
not wanting to rock the boat and the urge to do your own thing.
Venus enters Aries (8:42 PM) tonight setting a more assertive,
competitive tone for the next several months. Venus will be going
into retrograde on March 7th, prolonging its sojourn in Aries. Venus
usually spends only three or four weeks in a sign but it will be
in Aries until June 6th. Anyone notice an unseasonable warming trend?
Tuesday
2/03 - People
are moving slowly this morning, preferring to sleep in or gaze dreamily
into that second cup of coffee. A Moon/Neptune square (8:21 AM)
dissipates any early morning clarity we may have woken up with (Moon
trine Mercury at 5:41 AM). It's a good morning to let your imagination
drift but it's hard to get focused on the work at hand.
The
Moon enters Gemini at 6:14 PM.
The
day doesn't really gain much momentum until it's practically over
and a Moon/Mars trine kicks around 6:30 PM, so the evening is energetic,
motivated and creative too. Thanks to a Moon/Venus sextile (8:38
PM) there's something pleasant to look forward to tonight.
Wednesday
2/04 -
It's a lovely morning. A Moon/Jupiter trine (7:08 AM) has people
feeling happy and out-going.
Mars moves into Aquarius (8:56 AM) where it will be until
March 14th. Under this influence, people focus on accomplishing
a cherished goal instead of concentrating on the merely practical.
Mars in Aquarius adds drive to the somewhat overly optimistic influence
of Jupiter and Neptune in Aquarius.
The
day ends on a harmonious note as the Gemini Moon trines the Sun
in Aquarius (11:00 PM). This out-going aspect is a bit of a social
butterfly, liking nothing better than having a busy calendar of
parties to attend.
Thursday
2/05 - Something shifted overnight and this day starts
on a sour note. The Gemini Moon t-squares the Saturn/Uranus opposition
early this morning (5:45 AM) so this is not the day to get an early
start. People are in a rotten mood, machinery is not working well,
the news is not good and frustration abounds. Might as well sleep
in.
Things
mellow out at midmorning when the Moon trines Neptune (10:45 PM)
though people may seem like they're on autopilot.
Saturn
opposes Uranus (4:00 AM) and the other shoe drops as far as
the economic melt down is concerned. This is the second pass of
an aspect that will occur five times before its influence begins
to fade late in the summer of 2010.
The
Moon moves into Cancer at 9:06 PM.
Venus
squares Pluto (9:23 PM) tonight adding to the day's edgy mood.
People are feeling emotionally vulnerable and manipulated. Just
after midnight the Cancer Moon triggers the Venus/Pluto square when
it opposes Pluto (1:06 AM) and squares Venus (1:18 AM). This is
a night with a propensity toward crime and violence.
Friday
2/06
-
After
those midnight alignments, there are no other major lunar aspects
today. Emotionally, people are still recovering from yesterday.
Saturday
2/07
-
There's
a disciplined approach to this morning. The day gets off to an early
start as the Moon sextiles Saturn (6:25 AM) and trines Uranus (6:48
AM) so people are motivated and focused on getting the job done.
Things
turn hectic just after noon when the Moon opposes Mercury (12:21
PM). It's easy to find yourself over commited and racing to cover
all your bases. Take a deep breath and pace yourself.
The
Moon enters Leo at 9:43 PM.
Sunday
2/08
-
It's a restless night. People are up late, energized, edgy,
looking for action as the Moon opposes Mars (2:23 AM).
Sometime in the wee hours of the morning a soothing influence calms
things down as the Moon moves into a gentle trine with Venus (4:32
AM).
The
morning is laid back and lazy as the Leo Moon opposes Jupiter (10:43
AM). Make like a cat and go for some serious resting and recreation.
Recharge your batteries for the week ahead.

are in effect for several days. The Moon's daily aspects are rapidly
shifting influences that are in effect for only a few hours.
