Monday the Moon moves from Gemini into Cancer mid morning. We wake up on the wrong side of the bed. It's a low energy morning, don't push too hard. Finally around midafternoon things begin to pick up and by evening we're feeling positively lively.

Tuesday is pleasant, good for business, communication and negotiation. It's hard to unwind this evening as there's a clash of wills going on. Easier just to relax and find some common ground.

Wednesday the Sun conjuncts Mercury in Taurus. This is a good time for planning or organizational work. Your thinking is undergoing some kind of transformation now. While some are trying to work behind the scenes and manipulate the situation to their advantage, others are finding ways to manifest their best vision, to take a dream and make it real. Also today Venus in Aries trines Pluto in Sagittarius. This is a passionate aspect, one that feels deeply, dramatically, loyally. There's a tendency to self-sacrifice or, more negatively, a tendency to sacrifice others.

Thursday, 5/08, Mars opposes Jupiter. It's easy to over do it now. This is a high energy aspect known for a sometimes foolhardy rashness and a tendency to take ill-considered chances. There's an art to knowing when to stop and how much is enough. The Moon conjuncts Jupiter around midday and opposes Mars and Neptune in the afternoon and evening. This could be a truly magical day. Wonderful things are possible now and blessings surround us. If you can tap into the creative, spiritual energy that's available now it will help you revision your life, aligning yourself with your highest potentials.

Friday gets off to an early start and we've gotten a lot accomplished before noon. It's an intense but social morning. People want to talk about what's really going on and are ready to reveal much about themselves in the process. Even though the moon is in Leo, Friday evening is subdued. A somewhat sober, serious mood prevails.

Saturday the Moon opposes Uranus first thing so we may completely change our plans for the day before we've even gotten out of bed. Maybe it's the weather or maybe we just need a change of pace but we're in the mood for something different today.

Sunday is Mother's Day. Mom's in the mood for a more traditional celebration but everyone else seems to have their own ideas of what's right for today. There's a bit of a power struggle in the air this morning but by afternoon harmony is restored.

Mercury squares Neptune on Monday. It's a rather spacey little morning. People are forgetful and distracted, having a hard time keeping their minds on the subject. It's hard to do business under this influence. With Neptune prayer, meditation and surrender to a higher power are always the answer. Try to keep your mental imagery positive. Envision what you would like rather than what you're afraid of. These images have more power to draw events into your life than you realize.

Tuesday Mercury squares Mars so there's lots of mental energy today. Usually this aspect unleashes a torrent of words. With all the Neptune influence a lot of what you'll hear on the mundane level is false; untrue gossip or outright lies. What you do want to listen to now are inspirational teachings, inner voices, poetry and music (all Neptunian subjects also). It's a good time to express yourself creatively, sing loud and long and act on inspiration. This is the energy of the wise fool. Divine grace is available, just call it in. Ask for it. Pray for it.

On Wenesday Mars conjuncts Neptune in Aquarius. This is a powerful expression of Neptune, a very idealistic line up. People are feeling called upon to follow some special dream, some personal vision. It's a good time to make a commitment to your highest self. Others will use this same energy to lie, cheat, steal, scam, distort, kid themselves, hide in denial or go over the deep end somehow; all manifestations of Mars/Neptune square Mercury.

Thursday is the Full Moon in Scorpio at 9:36 PM MST. It's been a loony week already. If you live in the city you'll notice that the street people have been over the top recently. It's not just the street people that are acting irrationally now. Ego and Neptune don't mix and the current mix will have people trying to jusify some very strange behaviors. Once again meditation, creativity and compassion are favored and encouraged. Neptune goes retrograde today so the images we're working with now sink deep within our unconscious and will be affecting and working on us for many months to come.

Friday Venus moves into Taurus. There's a light hearted exuberance about this day, a sense of newness and excitement. The Moon in Sagittarius trines Jupiter in Leo later on tonight so it's a great evening to have a party or social gathering.

Saturday gets off to a dreamy, gentle start. There's a potency to our feelings and perceptions today that pierces to the heart of the matter.

Sunday the Moon moves into Capricorn early. Venus in Taurus sextiles Uranus in Pisces today, an independent yet charming energy that does it's own thing but makes everyone else love it. This day has star quality.
