Monday 04/04 - After spending the last 12 years in Aquarius, Neptune enters Pisces (7:36 AM), where it will be until 2025. Neptune represents our fondest dreams and our greatest delusions. It is the anti-ego planet, the place where we are all connected. "As you do unto the least of these, so you do unto me," is Neptune's lesson, though somehow humanity still doesn't seem to get it, especially in our current "every man for himself" mindset. Neptune tends to dissolve the boundaries between ourselves and others.

The Moon moves into Taurus at 5:46 PM and sextiles Neptune (5:58 PM) so the mood is quiet and low-key.

Tuesday 04/05 - There's an air of determination this morning as the Taurus Moon trines Pluto in Capricorn (8:47 AM). People are intent on achieving certain practical goals and will plug away until they get there.

A feeling of satisfaction settles in later this afternoon when the Moon sextiles Venus in Pisces (5:02 PM). Moon/Venus is friendly and warm-hearted, helpful and generous.

Wednesday 04/06 - The Sun conjuncts Jupiter in Aries (8:40 AM), expanding and amplifying the current Aries line-up. Normally Sun/Jupiter is described as enthusiastic, outgoing and action-oriented but, with Uranus, Mars and Mercury also in the mix, the Sun/Jupiter conjunction acts like a match thrown on tinder, so potentially explosive situations become even more so.

There is an opportunity here for those favorably influenced by this conjunction, as long as you can keep your cool and not be swept away by powerful emotions.

Thursday 04/07 - The Moon enters Gemini at 5:22 AM.

This busy and interesting morning takes off in high gear when the Moon sextiles Uranus (8:19 AM). The pace keeps up as the day progresses and the Moon moves into a sextile to Mars (1:56 PM). It's turns out to be a very productive day.

Friday 04/08 - The only serious work that gets accomplished today happens first thing this morning when the Moon trines Saturn (7:40 AM), then it's time to relax.

It's a highly enjoyable and charming afternoon. People are getting a head start on the weekend as the Gemini Moon sextiles Jupiter (2:21 PM), the Sun (5:48 PM) and Mercury (8:24 PM). This is a great time to socialize or have a dinner party. People have a lot to say and most of it is interesting.

Saturday 04/09 - Pluto goes into its annual retrograde phase (2:49 AM).

The Sun conjuncts Mercury in Aries (1:37 PM), indicating an aggreesive ideological or verbal onslaught. Normally this wouldn't be quite so forceful but the combination of several planets in Aries really heats up the rhetoric.

The Moon enters Cancer at 3:02 PM and trines Neptune shortly thereafter (3:19 PM) so the mood is pensive and dreamy.

Things get radical around 6 PM when the Moon squares unpredictable Uranus and people want to get wild and crazy and let off some steam. Watch out because this is still a very accident prone time.

Sunday 04/10 - Yuck. What happened? People wake up on the wrong side of the bed this moning (the Moon squared Mars and opposed Pluto overnight) and it takes all day to shake off the gloom. The Moon squares Saturn at 3:45 PM so the depressive mood persists until later this evening when a Moon/Jupiter square (11:26 PM) finally begins to lift our spirits.

This week starts off with a bang as Mars squares Pluto on Monday (4/11). This alignment is in effect for several days. It brings great reservoirs of energy and perseverance. People can work much harder and longer than usual under this influence, and a dogged determination has folks hanging on like a pitbull to whatever it is they want.

Don't expect compromise under this aspect. Do expect more news from the situation in Japan as Mars/Pluto has long been associated with nuclear power.

The line-up in Aries continues to be big news. Most of the planets are clustered in what astrologers call a t-square, this looks like a square formation missing one point. A t-square is dynamic, action-oriented and stressful. This is effecting everyone, not just those with planets in Aries. The cardinal signs, especially, are being blasted with the fiery intensity of all this Aries, meaning Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are also feeling the heat, the internal pressure that's being generated by this alignment.

This week an expressive mood has had people standing up to share ideas and speak their minds. But because of all the pressure this can easily take on a manic tone.

Also on Monday (4/11), Mercury conjuncts Jupiter, in Aries of course, so hot air is blowing our way. Everybody's up on their soapbox now, holding forth about whatever it is. Overly optimistic assessments abound.

This is a good time to express yourself, but look beneath the surface of other people's words to see what is really happening. Like a cop doing crowd control, the media tells us to "Step along, folks. Nothing to see here. Just keep on moving". Well, take a long, hard look and make your own assessment of what's really going on.

This is still a very accident prone time. There's a tendency to take risks or push people and situations to the point of no return. Even if you're exercising caution, there's someone just around the corner who isn't, so be extra aware, especially when driving.

After a bit of a break, floating on the traces of optimism remaining from last week's Mercury/Jupiter conjunction (4/ 11/11), the pressure begins to build again.

Mars opposes Saturn on Monday (4/18) and the big squeeze is on. Mars and Saturn present difficult circumstances and cantankerous people, obstacles to be overcome and work to be done. People tend to be ornery and uncooperative now. It's not a good time to ask for favors because the answer will probably be, "No". The Mars/Saturn effect lingers for most of the week.

There are still five planets in Aries. Retrograde Mercury has been moving backwards through Aries, spending much longer in that sign than it normally would. This week Mercury will join Mars in it's opposition to Saturn. The psychic pressure is intense. The screws are tightening and people are loosing it, right and left.

Mercury conjunct Mars in Aries (4/19) has people eager to speak their minds and heated arguments break out with little provocation. Hot winds are blowing and hot air abounds.

Mercury goes direct next Saturday (4/23). As it goes direct, Mercury pauses right on top of the Mars/Saturn opposition, prolonging the agony, so to speak.

The Moon is in Scorpio on Monday and Tuesday, making these days especially good for planting.

Monday 04/18 - The Moon was Full last night at 8:44 PM and emotions are still strong today.

This morning Mars opposes Saturn (10:02 AM), so things are not running smoothly. Obstacles crop up and if machinery is about to break, now's the time. You may have to revise and review something you thought you had already resolved.               

Tuesday 04/19 - Today Mercury conjuncts Mars (8:59 AM) in Aries, turning up the volume on any disputes. Expect to overhear at least on scream fight this week. Just try not to be part of one. You may have to adopt an especially conciliatory attitude to avoid it.

If you're trying to convince someone or sell a product or an idea, back up, slow down and take a more subtle approach.

The mood sweetens later this evening when the Scorpio Moon trines Venus in Pisces (10:53 PM). People are more caring and receptive now.

Wednesday 04/20 - The Moon enters Sagittarius at 12:50 AM.

Two planets change signs today. One planet leaves Aries and another enters it, so we still end up with five palnets in Aries. The Sun enters Taurus at 4:18 AM and Venus enters Aries (10:06 PM) tonight.

A Sun/Neptune sextile (2:44 PM) takes the edge off recent tensions. People are more likely to take a laissez faire attitude now, preferring to soothe rather than inflame the situation.

Thursday 04/21 - Spirits are lighter today and the world looks brighter. This morning will have you bounding out of bed, eager to get an early start on the day. The Sag Moon trines Jupiter (10:57 AM), making this, by far, the best day of the week. People are cheerful, friendly and eager to lend a helping hand.

Friday 04/22 - The Moon enters Capricorn at 4:24 AM.

This is a good day to take off and do something fun. If there's work that hasn't gotten done yet, it isn't going to get done today. And, it's Good Friday so, of course, people are taking off.

Venus conjunct Uranus (8:29 PM) can be exciting or disturbing, innovative or disruptive, or all of the above. You could meet an eccentric, intriguing stranger or a crazy person on the edge of a nervous breakdown.

There's more going on than meets the eye, as the Moon conjuncts Pluto (5:50 PM). Express yourself, but be aware that the situation may be more volatile then it seems.

Saturday 04/23 - Mercury goes direct at 4:04 AM.

There's a tendency toward anxiety this morning. People wake up worrying. If it's not the to-do list for tomorrow, its something else that's keeping you up at night. People are pressured and grouchy, as the Moon squares Mars (10:42 AM).

Tonight it's go, go, go. There are commitments and obligations to be taken care of and that dutiful Capricorn Moon won't let us rest until its all done.

Sunday 04/24 - Happy Easter!

Duties attended to, the Moon moves into Aquarius around noon. People break with tradition this afternoon and enjoy something a little different. This Easter could turn out to be a bit of an adventure. The evening looks quite amusing as the Moon sextiles Uranus (4:39 PM) and Venus (9:13 PM).

Over the last two months, a series of planets in Aries have been triggering a potent t-square. This week Venus moves into the hot seat putting the focus on the victims of this spring's spate of disasters and people count the personal cost of recent events. By mid week there's a palpable feeling of sadness on the air waves. Do what you can to alleviate the pain. Reach out a helping hand to a friend in need.

By mid month there'll be a big shift into the sign of Taurus and things will finally begin to calm down.

Monday 04/25 - The mood is quiet and focused on taking care of business this morning (Moon trine Saturn at 11:45 AM).

After lunch people perk up and become quite talkative and outgoing (Moon sextile Mercury at 1:27 PM). A certain idea strikes our fancy and gets the wheels rolling, energizing us both mentally and physically. It turns into a late night as inspiration won't let us get to sleep until after midnight (Moon sextile Mars at 12:13 AM).               

Tuesday 04/26 - We wake up feeling good as the Aquarius Moon sextiles Jupiter (5:28 AM). The world looks bright and beautiful today and a cheerful, optimistic mood prevails.

The Moon enters Pisces at 10:57 PM.

Things get dreamy and distracted after the sun sets. Plan a quiet evening at home. People are relaxed but unmotivated as the Moon moves into a conjunction with Neptune (12:05 AM). Seed your unconscious with prayer and positive imagery before you go to sleep tonight.

Wednesday 04/27 - The mood shifted overnight and today we're dealing with some very emotional and possibly self-destructive energies. Venus square Pluto (1:20 AM) dredges up old wounds and patterns, especially those involving feelings of grief, abandonment and betrayal.

Sun trine Pluto (6:58 PM) lends a certain strength and purpose, helping us deal with the dangerous undertow of out-of-control emotionality.

Thursday 04/28 - There are no major aspects today.

Friday 04/29 - The Moon moves into Aries at 11:33 AM.

This afternoon there's a stampede for the door as people are eager to call it a week and head for home. Like tinder ready to ignite, there's a very temperamental edge as the Moon conjuncts Uranus (4:59 PM). Rush hour traffic is more crazy than usual, with many fender-benders and road rage escalating out of relatively minor incidents. Try and get home early and avoid the rush.

Saturday 04/30 - This weekend is an odd combination of seemingly contradictory energies. First we're way down and then we're way up.

Venus opposition Saturn (6:16 PM) is related to Wednesday's Venus/Pluto square. There's a palpable feeling of sadness on the air waves. Venus/Pluto/Saturn puts the emotional focus on the victims of recent catastrophes. It's easy to feel victimized now but a little perspective may make your personal woes dwindle in comparison. A "poor me" attitude is often used to justify bad behavior and treating others harshly.

On the other hand, Mars conjunct Jupiter (10:26 PM) is an aspect of abundant energy and enthusiasm. Mars/Jupiter is a bit of a risk-taker and a dare-devil but, needless to say, long-shot gambles don't turn out well now.

Sunday 05/01 - It's May Day and things are looking up. The emphasis is on yesterday's Mars/Jupiter conjunction so the weekend isn't a total bust after all.

There's almost a feeling of euphoria this morning as the Moon conjuncts Jupiter (8:51 AM). This seems a little manic after yesterday's depression but it certainly is a big relief. There's huge energy today so get busy, get out and enjoy an active morning. (The Moon conjuncts Mars at 9:20 AM).
